Rachel Herz, neuroscientist and world-leading expert on the psychological science of smell will share how these senses not only form the foundation of our culinary experiences but also play a crucial role in memory, emotion, and even survival.

Understanding Chemosensory Disorders

Anosmia, which millions of people experienced in conjunction with a Covid-19 infection, is just one of the many types of chemosensory disorders. Stephanie Feuer, WTSA's Co-founder, will shed light on the range of chemosensory disorders, exploring their causes and impacts. She’ll share coping strategies from those living with altered taste and smell, and through poignant testimonials, share a glimpse into the experience of living with smell and taste challenge.

All about Parosmia

Chrissi Kelly, founder of AbScent, and now the ckos Network, will discuss parosmia. She’ll share observations and experiences from the AbScent support groups and the groundbreaking research on parosmia triggers done in conjunction with Jane Parker.
