World Taste & Smell Association Partner in MOFAD’s New Exhibit, "Flavor, The World To Your Brain" in New York City

The World Taste & Smell Association (WTSA) is thrilled to partner with the Museum of Food and Drink (MoFAD) for this year's exhibit on "Flavor, The World To Your Brain," at MoFAD's new location in Brooklyn, New York City. This unique collaboration promises to open doors for trade and consumers to explore the fascinating intersection of taste and smell interactively.

"We are thrilled to collaborate with MoFAD to raise awareness about the intricacies behind our most engaging senses," said Mindy Yang, Chief Engagement Officer of the World Taste & Smell Association. "This exhibit is not just an educational journey; it's a commitment to enhancing lifestyle in fun and immersive ways."

The partnership will enable the sharing of resources and expertise to educate the public about the science behind flavor, which lies at the crossroads of wellness, lifestyle, and environmental consciousness. By illuminating the spectrum of taste and smell experiences, we are developing programs with MOFAD to foster a greater appreciation for how individual and cultural differences in sensory perception can shape dietary habits and culinary innovation.

"Our mission has always been to educate and inspire through food, art, and science. By joining forces with MOFAD, we can amplify this message and explore the sensory aspects of eating and drinking that are often overlooked."

The exhibit will be open to the public on Valentine's Day, February 14th, and will offer a multi-faceted program featuring interactive displays. MoFAD's captivating storytelling dives into the relevance of flavor and the union of taste and smell in everyday life. Additionally, WTSA and MoFAD will produce joint invite-only programs, including expert-led workshops that explore the potential for innovating and personalizing the way we enjoy food while addressing pressing issues such as sustainability and health. Attendees can look forward to an immersive experience that enlightens and entices the senses.

Both organizations seek to further engage with companies that are pushing the boundaries of innovation in the food and drink sector.

Collaboration with industry leaders will aim to reveal how advancements in research, technology and understanding can transform the sensory experience of taste and smell for consumers.
