Alexis Wintrob, the creative mind behind "Za Za's Scent-Sational Super Power" and "Za Za Spreads Sweetness," drew inspiration from her professional fragrance industry experience as well as her twin daughters’ passion for imaginative stories and vibrant illustrations.
For nearly a decade, Alexis focused on identifying and understanding new and emerging trends and applying them to cross-category leading businesses for Procter & Gamble. During her time at P&G, she forecasted Global Fragrances & Flavors trends and participated in the company’s perfumer-in-training program. Today, as a fragrance and flavor trends consultant, Wintrob expertly combined her perfumer training with her storytelling abilities to craft a tale of a young girl's determination to design infinite scent-sational creations.
"Za Za's Scent-Sational Super Power" was a 2021 Perfumed Plume Fragrance Book of the Year Award finalist and inspired the creation of a new future children’s book award category. The story has been featured in fragrance industry publications and podcasts including Perfumer & Flavorist Magazine, The Perfume Society's The Scented Letter Magazine, An Aromatic Life, Perfume Playdate Book Club, and Outspoken Beauty.
